We also didn’t ever use the magic skill at Nex because we had no rune pouch and nobody was going to waste inventory space on 3 or more different types of runes, but that’ll also be different in OSRS. And yes people used to claw spec even in Arma, although if you had the inventory space you could just take off the ranged gear giving you negative attack bonuses for your specs. It doesn’t consume charges while ranging which is over half the fight, and the only times you meleed were for claw specs, so getting those extra chances at blood fury procs off the claw specs is a good idea for the extra healing, as minimal as it is.
